Courchevel 1850 · French Alps · France · Ski-In / Ski-Out Palace
LVMH's flagship alpine maison — a 36-room Palace on the Jardin Alpin slope with ski-in/ski-out access to Les Trois Vallees (600km). Three Michelin stars, Guerlain Spa, and the Chalet Apartment: a 315m private residence over four floors with cinema, sauna, and private spa.
Cheval Blanc Courchevel began as Bernard Arnault's private family chalet — and that origin defines the experience today. The hotel sits at the top of Courchevel 1850 on the Jardin Alpin piste with true ski-in/ski-out access and a direct descent into the resort. The 36-room Palace is intimate by design: service is intuitive, indulgence is never showy, and the atmosphere sits somewhere between storybook and high society.
The Chalet Apartment is the most private accommodation at Cheval Blanc — a standalone 315m residence over four floors with its own private lift, spa treatment room, sauna, hot tub, and cinema room. Each of the three bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub, hammam-rain shower with chromotherapy, and a separate dressing room. A grand living room with a modern fireplace, a dining area, and an outdoor terrace complete the residence.
Le 1947 a Cheval Blanc is the sole three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Courchevel — chef Yannick Alleno's dining room where French technique meets bold alpine creativity. Dom Perignon is the house champagne, appearing at arrival and in rooms throughout the day. The Guerlain Spa is the only one known to offer champagne before treatments, with a Russian banya and open-air snow exposure.

A grand living room with a modern fireplace, a dining area, an outdoor terrace, and a private cinema room occupy the lower floors. The spa level contains a sauna, relaxation lounge, hammam, Nordic bath, and a private spa treatment room — Guerlain treatments are available without leaving the residence.
Three bedrooms occupy the upper floors: a master suite with double bathtub, double hammam-shower, double dressing room, and private vanity; and two further suites each with a lounge, en-suite bathroom with soaking tub and chromotherapy hammam-rain shower, and a dressing room. Butler service is dedicated to the Chalet. Residents have full access to Le 1947, Le Grill Alpin, the Guerlain Spa, and the ski concierge.

Le Grill Alpin delivers one of Courchevel's most generous breakfasts and refined alpine lunch classics in a sumptuous red room overlooking the slopes.
