Capella Singapore is the product of Foster + Partners' restoration of two 1880s Tanah Merah colonial bungalows — the former Officers' Mess for the British Royal Artillery on Sentosa Island — built into 30 acres of landscaped tropical grounds overlooking the South China Sea.
