Belmond Villa Sant'Andrea was built as a private seaside villa in the 1920s on the bay of Mazzarò — directly below Taormina and its ancient Greek theatre, with Mount Etna visible above the bay on clear mornings. The original villa architecture — clay-tiled roofs, cream arches, and iron balconies — has been preserved, with manicured Italian gardens connecting the building to the private beach below.
The Presidential Zagara Suite and the Exclusive Gelsomino Suite are the hotel's signature accommodations — spacious apartments with arched windows overlooking the Ionian Sea.
